Issue: Every time I power cycle my 9xtend, I loose the settings I just wrote to the module.
Cause: The radio has not been placed in "User Defined" mode.
The radio has six dip switches by the antenna port that control specific functions. Some of the functions include the address commands such as DT, MY, RR, MK and others. When the dip switches are not set for user defined mode (switches 5 and 6 up), the processor on the 9xtend re-sets these values to a predefined set which makes it easy to deploy in Point to point or Point to multi-point network topologies. To resolve this, set dip switches 5 and 6 to the up position before writing your desired values.
