What is the default IP address of an AnywhereUSB and how can it be changed?

All current AnywhereUSB models have DHCP clients and auto-IP enabled by default. The Device Discovery Utility for Windows is used to configure IP settings.

If needed, the user can factory default the AnywhereUSB device to set the unit back to DHCP.
NOTE: This will remove any settings on the AnywhereUSB device. Please ensure to backup the configuration before doing the factory default process.

Regarding the legacy / 1st generation AnywhereUSB/5 model, it has the following static IP address by default:

IP Address: 192.168.254.222

Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

This specific model is configured exclusively through the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility.
