The Hubport PlusPower “Power Management” feature - this applies only to:
1. In a nutshell, what does this feature do? It offers the ability to power on/off USB ports via software.
2. Why was this feature created? For safety reasons, because disconnecting the PlusPower USB cables from the 12V/24V ports can make sparks/arches.
3. What model Hubports are compatible? Only "PlusPower" Hubport models. More specifically, only Compact (/c) or PCI card PlusPower Hubport models.
Note: This feature does NOT toggle the 5V standard USB port. It only applies to the 12V and 24V USB ports.
