Migration from OP7100 to newer Rabbit solution

Option 1: Less hardware development

BL4S200 (or BL4S210 depending on the type of Ethernet and memory they require)

Add the RN1600 RabbitNet Keypad/Display Interface card (this uses the RabbitNet port on the BL4S200)**Please note the LCD included in this kit is not a graphic display and is smaller in dimension compared to the OP7100 display**

Migration path:

- Hardware: Customer would have to redesign HW using the BL4S200 with the RN1600 expansion card, and any serial based LCD. This would take the place of the all in one OP7100

- Software: Customer still uses Dynamic C, just more current version of the software. Customer will still have hundreds of sample programs and pre-written libraries, including ones for LCD interfaces for the RN1600 without having to abandon Dynamic C and losing much of their existing code. Please note, the version of Dynamic C that is used on the BL4S100 is a newer version of Dynamic C, additional modifications to the existing code in the current version of Dynamic C made for the OP7100 will be needed in order to migrate to the newer version of Dynamic C. Option 2: additional hardware development

BL4S110

Hardware: Customer would then add their own serial based LCD to the BL4S100. RabbitNet would not be used with this option, hardware would have to be developed for this option.

Software: Customer will still have hundreds of sample programs and pre-written libraries, including ones for serial based LCD’s without having to abandon Dynamic C and losing much of their existing code. Please note, the version of Dynamic C that is used on the BL4S100 is a newer version of Dynamic C, additional modifications to the existing code in the current version of Dynamic C made for the OP7100 will be needed in order to migrate to the newer version of Dynamic C.
