Digi modems feature a simple serial interface. Sending data through the wireless link is as simple as sending data through a comm port so in most applications you can use the standard serial drivers to interact with the radio modem.
The attached Linux source code can be used to configure a ethertap device to direct ethernet traffic through a pair of Digi wireless serial modems.
This code was originally developed by a Digi customer and used to capture still images from a remote ethernet camera.
The source code was donated to Digi and we provide it for our other customers to use without any warranty express or implied.
