How to configure a Static IP address on a AnywhereUSB via command-line interface (CLI)

This article is applicable to 2nd generation AnywhereUSB models - that is, all models other than that legacy / 1st generation AnywhereUSB/5.

The CLI command to configure an AnywhereUSB with a Static IP address is as follows:

#> set network ip=x.x.x.x gateway=y.y.y.y submask=z.z.z.z dhcp=off static=on autoip=off

Note:  If needed, to re-enable the AnywhereUSB's DHCP client, either factory reset the AnywhereUSB or issue the following CLI command:

#> set network static=off dhcp=on
