What were you doing in Middle School? Well, Quin Etnyre, the CEO of Qtechknow, is currently designing robots and teaching electronic classes at hackerspaces. He is well known for designing a mini Roomba that drove into the White House during the first ever White House Maker Faire. This device uses Arduinos and XBee to remotely control its path and actions.
Quin designs and 3D prints all of the plastic material that makes the skeleton of the Roomba. From this, he created a game with NFC tags, similar to the way PacMan collects points as he/she collects coins.
This kid has a bright future, watch out.
